I know this decision personally.
I spent around 15 years in the mortgage industry and co-built a seven-figure mortgage and insurance business from scratch.
From the outside, it looked successful. Behind the scenes, the stress had become unsustainable.
Eventually, I walked away and started again - building an online business that gave me a level of flexibility my previous career never could.
That freedom became more meaningful than I expected. During the final years of my mother’s life, it allowed me to travel overseas, spend extended time with her while she was sick and be there when it mattered most.
